Digital Asset Management
The quality of data depends on completeness, availability, and timeliness. It may sound boring, but without all attachments, product information is simply not complete and therefore still dependent on something or someone else. With Skwirrel, you have everything in order centrally, with emphasis on everything.
Product information means all product information.
Our built-in Digital Asset Management system (DAM) may be the reason to start using Skwirrel. Photos, datasheets, documentation, manuals, or videos are all part of a certain product. With Skwirrel's integrated DAM system, you can actually add all information to a certain product and not be dependent on a single colleague or other systems.
No duplicate files with checksum.
The files you upload are managed efficiently. We use a checksum, a kind of fingerprint, to prevent unnecessary duplicate files in your storage. When uploading files, the checksum is checked. If it turns out that a file already exists in the database, Skwirrel notifies you that the same or a similar file is present. You can then choose to use the file from the database to avoid duplicates in the system. This saves up to 80% of storage space and a lot of clutter!
