PHP Developer

24 - 40 hours

At Skwirrel, we’re searching for a PHP Developer who excels in coding but is also a coach and visionary for our team – someone who shares insights, drives innovation, and helps us build smarter every day.

What will you do?

Code & Innovation:

  • Develop and optimize our PIM platform and other custom applications.
  • Create integrations with external systems via RESTful APIs and other connections.
  • Experiment with new technologies and apply them in our work.
  • Ensure our systems stay one step ahead of the rest.


Teach & Inspire:

  • You share your knowledge about the latest tools, frameworks, and technologies.
  • You inspire colleagues by giving trainings or organizing brainstorming sessions.
  • You collaborate with the team to come up with and implement smart solutions.
  • You help us grow by using your expertise as a mentor for less experienced developers.

You offer us:

  • In-depth knowledge of PHP and frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony.
  • Experience with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and building APIs.
  • Affinity with new technologies and a drive to always stay up to date.
  • Excellent communication skills: you can explain complex concepts in a simple way.
  • The flexibility and availability to travel to Middelburg when needed.
  • A natural curiosity and the talent to inspire others.
